Welcome to Bear of Bad Newz. By accessing this website, booking a service, or participating in a delivery, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

Bear of Bad Newz provides theatrical, comedic message delivery services for entertainment purposes only. All services involve scripted or semi-scripted delivery of messages, often while wearing a bear costume.

Bear of Bad Newz does not provide legal, HR, medical or counseling services.

2. Entertainment Purpose Only

All deliveries are intended solely for entertainment. While messages may involve real situations, Bear of Bad Newz does not guarantee emotional outcomes, reactions or responses.

Clients acknowledge that humor and reactions may vary.

3. Consent Requirement

By booking a service, the client confirms that:

• They authorize to request the delivery, and
• The recipient has given prior consent or the delivery is part of an approved workplace event, or pre-consented prank.

Bear of Bad Newz reserves the right to refuse or cancel any bookings that lacks proper consent.

4. No Physical Contact

Performs will not:

• Touch recipients
• Enter restricted or private areas
• Engage in physical interaction

5. Content Recordings and Usage

Unless otherwise selected at the time of booking, standard pricing includes permission for the Bear of bad Newz to record, photograph, and use delivery content for marketing, promotional and social media purposes.

Clients may select:

• Limited content use (faces blurred/no names) for an additional fee
• Private delivery (no recording or posting) for an additional fee

Content usage preferences must be selected prior to delivery.

6. Fees and Payments

• All prices are listed in U.S. dollars
• Full payment is required prior to delivery
• Additional fees may apply for:

1. Same-day delivery
2. Privacy requests
3. Custom Scripting
4. Travel outside service areas

7. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more before delivery may be eligible for rescheduling
• Same-day cancellations are non-refundable
• Bear of Bad Newz reserves the right to cancel due to safety, weather, or ethical concerns

Refunds are issued at the sole discretion of Bear of Bad Newz.

8. Right to Refuse Service

Bear of Bad Newz reserves the right to refuse or terminate any service request that is deemed:

• Unsafe
• Harassing
• Threatening
• Illegal
• Ethically inappropriate

No explanation is required.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bear of Bad Newz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services.

Clients agree to release and hold harmless Bear of bad Newz, its performers, and affiliates from all claims related to service delivery.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, scripts, videos, and branding associated with Bear of Bad Newz are the property of Bear of Bad Newz and may not be copied or used without written permission.

11. Website Use

Users agree not to:

• Misuse the website
• Submit false booking information
• Attempt to harm or impersonate the brand

Bear of Bad Newz may suspend or block access at any time.

12. Modifications

Bear of Bad Newz reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by the laws of the state in which Bear of Bad Newz operates.
